Kick off your Thanksgiving day right with an active morning, joining thousands of runners and walkers at Turkey Trot STL on America's most popular racing day! Join us for this Thanksgiving tradition by running or walking in the family-friendly Turkey Trot STL 5K at St. Charles Family Arena. Not only will you burn some calories before the big feast, but you'll also be making a difference in our community by supporting local food pantries. Thanks to the generosity of our participants, Turkey Trot STL has donated over $38,000 and 45,000 pounds of canned goods to local food pantries since 2014. Don't miss the chance to be part of a Thanksgiving tradition that's good for you and good for others.

Once again, we'll have freshly made donuts from Donut King to hold you over until your Thanksgiving feast. We're excited to partner with this locally-owned St. Charles business. Travelin' Tom's Coffee will also be back with two trucks selling hot chocolate and coffee drinks!

If you can't join us in-person, you can register for the virtual event and pay to have your swag shipped to you.

Swag

Turkey Trot STL registrants can choose between a long sleeve cotton shirt (this year's is even softer than before, featuring a triblend using recycled polyester!), a custom beanie, or a $10 Fleet Feet gift card, or skip the swag and save $8 on your registration. Registrants also have the option to purchase additional beanies for $17 each.

*Back in 2025: Participants have the option to customize their race experience by purchasing a finisher medal for an additional fee! All registrants can choose to purchase a finisher medal for just $7 during registration, and you can pick your medal up during packet pickup or post-race.

Packet Pickup Information

Participants can pick their packet and those of any friends and family members at any of the following packet pickup dates:

Tue, 11/25 | 11am-7pm | Fleet Feet St. Charles

Wed, 11/26 | 11am-7pm | Fleet Feet St. Charles

Thurs, 11/27 | Opens at 7am | St. Charles Family Arena

Virtual participants can pay $9 to have their swag shipped to them, or visit us in-person at packet pickup.

Race Results & Awards

All participants will receive a results email shortly after finishing, and participants who provide a cell phone number during registration will also receive their results via text message shortly after crossing the finish line. Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female 5K finishers, as well as the top male and female finishers in the following 5K age groups: 12 & under, 13 to 19, 20 to 24, 25 to 29, 30 to 34, 35 to 39, 40 to 44, 45 to 49, 50 to 54, 55 to 59, 60 to 64, 65 to 69 and 70 & Over.

All finishers will be able to watch video of their finish! Finishers will receive an email a couple days after the event with a link to be able to view video of them crossing the finish line.

Course

The Turkey Trot STL 5K course in St. Charles is flat, fast, and friendly. Its out-and-back section will allow participants to see and cheer their fellow athletes. The course is certified for distance accuracy by USA Track & Field (MO15025LJ). Wheelchair athletes are welcomed to compete. Wheelchairs will begin two minutes before the 5K start. Children in courteously-driven strollers are welcome. Dogs are not permitted on course.

Volunteers

Interested in volunteering? TTSTL volunteers receive Turkey Trot STL swag or a gift card. We are looking for individuals and groups to help with packet pick-up, course marshaling, pre/post-race, and more.
